Can You Ever Forgive Me?

Not really!  Much like the life of Lee Israel, the movie is dreary and draggy.  Melissa McCarthy creates a wonderful character with little evolution.  Her partner if crime does a standardly wonderfully gay job. It was nice to see Jane Curtain who’s been missing for ages.  In all not much here but an overall interesting short story, no disrespect to the dead.  Cinematography is ok, music is good and reminds me of Woody Allen.  Sorry, not date night worthy unless you have ulterior motives.
