It’s nice to see that creativity isn’t completely dead in Hollywood! Stylistically very interesting.  Music plays a central role in this film.  Oakes Fegley does a marvelous job carrying the lead role in this “out of the box” film. Wondering why Julianne Moore was cast instead of a deaf actress.  Don’t be mislead into thinking this is a film about time travel as some of the marketing might lead you to think.  While a bit clumsy, it’s a mystery story that crosses time.  While a bit choppy and a little long in some places it’s nice and does a lovely job of teaching us about tolerance and the world deaf people live in.  Could be considered for date night.  See it in a theater with a good sound system to fully appreciate it.
